Michael Hosaluk Demo 03.27.2010
On March 27th, 2010, Michael Hosaluk put on a great demonstration for the North East Florida Woodturners Association. Those members attending were treated to an entertaining demonstration of some of Michael’s techniques and methods. I’m sure many of the members left inspired to try some “out of the box” turning!
Tool Making Workshop 02.28.2010
Many of the club members took advantage of our second Tool Making Workshop, once again kindly hosted by Jim and Sandie. The sparks were flying as the steel was cut, ground, welded, drilled and generally beaten into submission
Michael Mode Demonstration 02.27.2010
On February 27th, 2010 Micahel Mode demonstrated his “Five Ring Stack Laminated Bowl” technique to the Northwest Florida Woodturners Association. It was a great demonstration, not only of his technique of making a bowl from a board, but also of his finishing process. At the end of the demonstration he gave the club a slide show of some of his work and explained the secrets behind some of his more completed designs as well as answering numerous questions from club members.

Sharpening TurnAround 02.13.2010
Here are some pics from our Sharpening Workshop at Dan’s house. We had about a dozen people there, so it was a good turnout. A number of the folks were our least experienced turners. Dan did sharpening, Emory and Ed demoed the skew and Dan and Ed demoed spindle gouges. Lots of good discussions and the folks that came really enjoyed it.
