Zoo Lights 2023 Club members make and give away Christmas ornaments the public at the zoo for several nights during the holidays. The public enjoys seeing live demonstration of wood turning and are typically very generous with donations. The nights for 2023 will be Dec 14 - 24. The time will be 6:00 - 9:00. We will have 3 mini lathes set up at thezoo. The club will provide small wood blanks useful for Christmas ornaments. The public is awed by watching a chunk of wood 'turn' into an ornament, It's a lot of fun for everyone. If you're a first timer, someone will be there to show you the ropes.
