Northeast Florida Woodturners Association welcomes you!

We are an affiliate of the American Association of Woodturners, Chapter #130, and are open to turners of all skill and experience levels. Please join us at our next meeting, or contact us for more information.

The focus of our Club is to improve the skills of our members, which we do through demonstrations at the monthly meetings, hands-on experience through club Turn Arounds and bringing in nationally known demonstrators several times each year.We also support a number of worthy charities including the AAW Return to the Community project, Turn Pens for the Troops, the Woodcraft sponsored Festival of Trees benefiting the United Way and Empty Stocking Fund and Holiday Toys for the Nemours Children’s Clinic.

Mother of Pearl Inlay

I came across the following article in my news feed and thought it may be of interest to members.

The article describes a new inlay by Imaginlay which consists of baked and crushed mother of pearl.  It looks like it could be a great option for those wanting to add an inlay to their work.
